GEN-I Group ranks first in the Risk & Energy Risk survey

Energy sector experts have voted GEN-I the best electricity trader in Eastern Europe for the second consecutive year, further solidifying its position as one of the most progressive players on the European energy market.

As part of the international Risk & Energy Risk survey, the GEN-I Group  once again captured first place in the “Energy Risk Commodity Rankings 2018” in the category “Eastern Europe – power dealers”. This is the second consecutive year that the GEN-I Group has captured the highest award, confirming the sustained excellence of its operations, as it also achieved enviable results in the aforementioned survey in the past. In addition to that success, the GEN-I Group also ranked fourth again this year among all European electricity traders and thus further solidified its position as one of the most progressive players on the entire European energy market.

“We are capable of offering our partners a great deal more than simple access to liquid energy markets and transparent market prices,” stated Igor Koprivnikar, member of GEN-I’s Management Board, following the announcement of the results of the survey. “We provide our partners the opportunity to optimize their electricity production or consumption, as well as flexible solutions for the purchase or sale of energy products, tailored to their individual needs. Playing a crucial role in that regard is our centralized management at the Group level, with a strong presence on local markets, which facilitates direct communication with partners with whom we have established open and responsible relationships. We are very proud of their satisfaction with our services.”

Those participating in the survey voted for the three best suppliers from a given category with whom they worked during the year. The results of the survey are not a reflection of market shares, but rather an indication of how experts assess the quality of a participating company in terms of reliability, pricing policy, effectiveness and responsiveness.
